In 1986, after realizing the calling on their lives to shepard the flock of God, they pioneered a church called Vessels of Honor Ministries, located in Bakersfield California.

Pastor Charles and Sylvia have a very unique ministry, in that they are not only Senior Pastors, but Chaplains with the Bakersfield Police Department and the Kern County Sheriffs Department, Evangelists in and throughout the United States, and Missionaries to foreign countries. Pastor Charles has also served as an area team advisor for Aglow international.

Together they are a powerful team bringing a much needed message of faith, hope, and love. They have been given a mandate from God to minister healing to the countless hurting and wounded people who have been injured in the body of Christ.

The Spirit of God uses Pastor Charles and Sylvia to set His people free in body, soul and spirit. They flow together in the gifts of prophecy, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, and gifts of healing. Their desire is for every member of the body to grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and reach their highest potential through Jesus Christ.
